A number of rural United Church of Canada congregations in North Simcoe, Ontario have agreed to share information, resources and talents to help our small rural congregations not only survive but thrive.  The churches that have formally endorsed participation in the cluster are marked on the map attached.  The congregations are in both the new Regions 8 and 10.  The meetings have shown a real interest in such a cluster, not only from ministerial staff but committed congregation members.  Our values are different than big city churches who often dominate discussion and decisions made in larger church bodies. With Presbyteries now gone and church bodies getting even larger under our new United Church structure, there is a need for Rural Churches to “Cluster” together.  Other congregations in the area are most welcome to join us.
